STONE SCULPTURE- THE BASICS
Session I: April 16 -19, 2009, 9am to 1 pm
Session II: June 18 - 21, 2009, 9am to 1pm

Release your inner Michelangelo! For 4 consecutive days, students will
learn about the best stone to carve, how to use both hand and power
tools,and how to translate ideas into reality. These are fun classes that
are small and designed to give the maximum of individual instruction. All
tools are provided. Though perfect for some one new to stone or who has
never taken art classes, this class also is a perfect refresher class for
those wanting to sharpen their skills.

Min. 4 students. Max 6 students.
$200 per session + materials fee of $15 to $60

What is Stone Sculpture? See for yourself! For 2 hours we'll explore the
varied ways to work with stone: files, chisels, sanding blocks, and power
tools, dainty to burly. The class fee of $10 will be deducted from any
course taken in 2009. Min. 4, Max 12 students.
